Are the buttons not backlit? Does it wake and light up when picked up? These two essential things missing would be a deal breaker for me.😢

I kind of Regret buying my S95B, It's a great TV. No doubt about it. Thin, and Very Vibrant. I do love a lot of things about it. But it's lack of Dolby Vision while not the biggest downside personally for me though it is a bit of a pain, my main issue is the Audio. The Speakers on the S95B Absolutely Suck. Like Seriously. It is Flat. No Punch at all. I had to go out of my way to buy my first surround sound system in order to resolve that. the Samsung Q800B. Now that has been brilliant, and can sync with the TV Speakers so their still used but now act more effectively as a whole. But... The fact I had to do that at all was ridiculous. Compared to my Old TV the Sony XE930 it didn't have all the bells and whistles, hell Dolby Vision came later on as a Software Update however, it had Very Respectable Audio, like it was quite clear and had some punch in bass too so I didn't need to buy a Surround System. That and it was one of the last TV's to have Component and Composite Support, So I could plug in my Modern Hardware as well as my Older Stuff like my PS2 and Original Xbox. I've now given that XE93 to my Mother as she required a much needed Upgrade, But still if I could go back to the day I was Buying a New TV. I think I should've gone with the Sony A95K instead of the Samsung S95B.

Epitome of brand failure. Never interested me one bit since 2001. 360 was getting there and almost turned bothersome for PS brand but it was mostly US and and the UK shadowing with game base.

Way too expensive. Ill stick with my Harmony One for now. Though i hear the SofaBaton X1S which is 1/3 the price of this remote is pretty good.

I don't know, backlight is very low and there is no way to increase it, plastic stink, and roller is not so useful compared to two fingers movement, and also there is not left/righy mouse buttons on left side like Rii 8+. Not sure if i picture myself satisfied.

People still use universal remotes? Sounds a bit like a waste in times of Home Assistant etc. Can‘t your phone do all the things too?

I still have some Harmony's. I ordered spares as the Harmony buttons tend to wear out. I wish they'd consider coming back but with much better buttons. Kodi but no Plex? Is it both BT & IR?

Great video, but you fail to mention the dealbreaker for android in my opinion: lag. I have had all of these. You name it, I've had it. All of the Amazon devices become impossibly slow after a few months, to the point of me wanting to smash their remotes in frustration. Yes, it is that bad. Reset to factory setting helps, but it you are like me and have every single streaming service known to man, setting all that back up is just not viable to do every couple of months. The Shield was the best here, but even that succumbed to lag after 2 or 3 years. Apple is a different story, I have the latest 4K with ethernet, as well as a 4th gen one with the old remote. These things just work, period. No lag, no frustration. I'm an old school PC gamer (keyboard, not gamepad please) so the streaming to TV things offered by the Shield are a little gimmicky in my opinion. My takeaway: I have a Shield in my family room TV, where everyone watches something. What's in my bedroom where only me and my wife watch? Apple TV 4K ethernet.

600CAD for a remote... hell no.
